SupplyTheDog turns real dog owner experiences into useful, organized knowledge — by breed, product type, care need, and routine. Here’s exactly how it works.
Create a profile for your dog — name, breed or mix, size, and a few basics. It takes about two minutes and requires only an email address to get started. Your dog gets their own entry in the SupplyTheDog knowledge base.
Create a Profile →Link your dog to their breed — or describe their mix if they’re a mixed breed. This connection is what makes the knowledge useful: over time, multiple dogs of the same breed contribute to that breed’s profile page, making it richer and more accurate.
Browse Breed Profiles →Add notes on what worked for your dog: food and treats they eat, toys they actually use, grooming tools that work for their coat, collars or harnesses that fit, beds they sleep in. You can also share brief notes on routines, training tips, or anything else a future owner of the same breed would benefit from knowing.
Share a Product Experience →Every dog profile and product experience submitted gets reviewed and organized into the SupplyTheDog knowledge base. Breed pages get richer as more dogs of that breed contribute. Product categories grow more useful as more owners share their real-world results.
As the database of real dog profiles and product experiences grows, SupplyTheDog can make better, more breed-specific and size-specific recommendations. The long-term goal is to connect this knowledge to AI-assisted tools that can help owners make faster, more informed decisions — without having to search through generic content that doesn’t fit their specific dog.
Most dog content is generic. SupplyTheDog organizes knowledge around actual dog profiles — specific breeds, sizes, and real owner experiences.
Every profile links to a breed page that accumulates knowledge from all dogs of that breed. The more owners contribute, the more useful each breed profile becomes.
We capture not just “did you like it” but context: what breed, what size, what age, what coat type, what worked, what didn’t, and why.
The dog profiles and experiences being submitted today are being structured so they can eventually power smarter, breed-specific AI-assisted recommendations.
Right now, contributing to SupplyTheDog is about building something useful for other dog owners. As the platform grows, we’re building member features that may include points or credits that offset membership costs or unlock features for active contributors.
Note: Any future rewards program will be points or credits, not cash. Features and program details may change as SupplyTheDog develops.
